Am I required to have a pool cover or fence?
That is a complicated question that we won’t be able to answer for you, but we can point you in the right direction to find out. The three most common reasons people are required to maintain a pool safety fence or safety cover are due to state/municipal codes, HOA rules, or as part of their agreement with their insurance company. If none of those entities has such a rule, then most likely, you are not required to have a safety fence or cover.
That does not mean, however, that in the event of an accident you can’t be held liable. Safety fences and covers help protect your family members, pets and guests. A safer environment saves lives and helps keep accidents from occurring, lowering the risk that you will find yourself the subject of a negligence lawsuit.
Which is safer: a cover or a fence?
Why not both? Our specialist will take a look at your property and the options it presents and go over the choices you have for your pool’s safety. We have full faith in all the products we sell and are passionate about saving lives by building you the right system for your pool area. It’s important to remember, however, that these safety products are tools, but safety starts with responsible use and good judgment.
Can a cover really stop someone from drowning?
Yes, they can. Our covers have undergone decades of development to design the best safety pool covers on the market. Whether you choose a manual or automatic cover, they’re strong, durable, and easy to use. From our sturdy tracks to the specially designed material and treatments that resist rips, tears, and water penetration, they’re built to work.
If your fences are removable, are they sturdy?
Yes! Because our fences are so easy to use, some people mistakenly think we’ve sacrificed strength for convenience. We’ve engineered our fence poles to anchor directly into your ground or deck to provide unsurpassed stability. The mesh used for the walls is extremely tough and designed to stop a stumbling adult, curious child, or large, galumphing dog from accidentally entering the pool area. Once removed, our “Peg” Poles leave a hole about the size of a dime, while our 1” Poles leave a quarter size hole inside a high-density, non-conductive polyethylene deck sleeve which can be covered with deck plug if desired.
I use my pool for exercise, but I have physical limitations. Will I be able to use your covers?
Pools are great for exercise because they offer the ability to tailor your exercise to your physical needs. Our automatic pool covers are perfect for those who may not have the strength, range of motion, or second person needed for manual covers. With the flip of a switch, a powerful electric motor can uncover or cover your pool, keeping movement around the pool safer and allowing less debris to enter, lowering the effort needed to keep your pool clean.
What is your service area?
We have a wide-reaching service area because we want to see everyone have access to safer pool areas. Currently, we serve Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, Boulder City, Mesquite, Pahrump, Bullhead City, Kingman, Lake Havasu, Mohave Valley, San Diego, and the surrounding areas, just like we have for the past 28 years.
How do I know you’re the right choice for my pool area?
There are a lot of shady contractors looking for unsuspecting homeowners. We’re proud to tell you that we’re accredited by the Better Business Bureau and were awarded the 2013 Super Service Award by Angie’s List, a site trusted by millions of people just like yourself that want to make sure they’re getting a great value from reputable contractors. Our Nevada contractor’s license is #37947–the same as it’s been for 23 years–with no adverse actions. We have the experience, passion for safety, and attention to detail that you want when lives–and your home’s value–are on the line.
Does getting an estimate mean I have to buy a cover or fence?
No! Our estimates are free with no obligation to use our services. We hope you will, but more importantly, we want to make sure you’re educated about the safety options you have available. Too many people think a safety fence or cover would be too expensive, too hard to use, or too difficult to fit to their pool. Our specialists have years of experience designing safety solutions to fit our client’s needs. If you’re worried you won’t be able to create a safer pool, let them take a look. It’s often far easier and more affordable than many people think.
